About Myrtleford
Situated in the heart of the beautiful Ovens Valley in the north east of Victoria, Myrtleford is ideally placed to take advantage of this magnificent area. The region is renowned for its cycling trails, bushwalking along with a vibrant food and wine culture.
Most sports are played with golf being one of the drawcards as several excellent courses are situated in the valleys.
About Our Golf Club
Myrtleford boasts an 18 hole grass green course with fairways lined with trees and some of River Red gums are reputed to be 300 years old. It is a challenging course with accuracy on the narrow fairways and small greens being at a premium.
Most of the fairways are flat with only the 9th and 18th being on a hill. One aspect often commented on by visitors is the fact that on nearly every fairway the flight of the ball can be easily followed because of the background of hills surrounding the course.
Our clubhouse is available for function hire, with a well equipped kitchen and well stocked bar. Corporate bookings for golf days or functions are welcome. Motorised carts and pull buggys are available for hire along with a range of hire clubs.
Being a volunteer run club we prefer that bookings be made prior to your event.
