The 18th Great Alpine Classic 2021


Monday 15th, Tuesday 16th & Thursday 18th March.

Wangaratta, Bright and Myrtleford Golf Clubs.


 


Entries open 1st January 2021 via electronic entries with payments required. Confirmation by return email with QR code for you to bring with you to the club each morning. Check your junk mail if not received. Entry without payment will not be accepted. Entries close 8th March 2021 if not full before. Enquires via email to gildavep1@gmail.com


Fields for 2021 are limited to 120 Players per day.

Wangaratta, Bright and Myrtleford will be limited to 120 players per day. Each day will be

 8.00 a.m. Registration for 9.00 a.m. shotgun start.

Ensure you book your cart with each Club and state on entry form if in a cart, who you are sharing with if known or if require someone to share. This is required for the draw.

Entry includes lunch of a salad roll, fruit, water and tea & coffee daily.

Heat policy will apply if necessary.

18th Great Alpine Classic 2021 Heat Policy & Cancellation Policy

Following the heat of the previous Great Alpine Classics, the organisers have again added the Heat Policy be implemented if needed. . Golf Australia and Golf Victoria Heat policies have been taken into consideration in this implementation.

Heat Policy

  • If the Bureau of Metrology, Victoria, forecasts, by 6 p.m. the night before, that the maximum temperature will be 40 degrees at the Club holding the next day’s activity, then the event will be cancelled.
  • Registration is at 8.00 a.m. each morning with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. to avoid the hottest part of the day

Refunds & Cancellations

  • Full refund if Clubs cancel the event.
  • An entrant may withdraw and have their entry fee refunded providing notification is received at least seven days prior to the commencement of the event.
  •  No refunds will be given for cancellations within seven days.  Application must be made to the Tournament Secretary.
  •  Players must consider that expenses are accrued in the planning and implementation of the event.
  • Personal circumstances i.e. bereavement in family, will be considered favourably.
