President's Bulletin – 18h March 2022

Men’s Comp

Last Saturday’s Competition, 19 players played and Zac Cunneen was on fire with an excellent 43 points, runner up on 39 points was Craig Piazza.

Last Wednesday, 12 players played, and Karl O’Shaughnessy played a terrific game with 41 points, runner up Paul Tanner with 36 points.

Ladies Comp

Last Tuesday, a good field of ladies played Stableford and Marnie Broz had an excellent score of 35 points, runner up Kerry Newton with 33 points. B grade winner was Carolyn Prowse with 33 points., runner up Sarah Deas with 29 points.

9-hole winner was Barb Welch with 18 points, runner up Betty Newton.

Barb continued her good form winning yesterday with 36 points, runner up Lyn Dwyer with 34 points. 9 hole winner was Marg Fitridge

No comp next Thursday because of the Alpine Classic. Ladies are invited to play in the Wednesday Comp.

Rotary Ambrose

A very good field of 56 players played last Sunday in the Myrtleford Rotary Club 4 player Ambrose. Winners were Marnie/Judy/Barry and Rockie with a net 54. Great score

Runners up were Trout/Craig/Jim and Matthew, .62 behind.

An excellent day, well done Myrtleford Rotary and their sponsors. I give a very big shout out to all our members for supporting the day.

Alpine Classic

Thanks to Peter Ternes, the draws for the three days have been done. We have a field close to 150 players so it will be a great classic. We need your support next Thursday, please give a couple of hours. For the raffle next Thursday, can you please bring along a bottle of wine or chocolates tomorrow or next week, leave on the billet table.

Men’Pennant

Starts this Sunday, The Club wishes both teams the best of luck.

Ladies Pennant

Last Monday, no pennant, and next Monday no pennant but catering instead.

Carts

A huge shout out to Kerry and Rod Newton who travelled to Tocumwal to pick up our new carts. Nearly every day we are hiring out our carts so the new carts are a great investment for our Club.

Pieter Veldman has indicated that he wishes to no longer look after our carts, please contact Andrew Roseby or myself if you are interested. Thanks Pieter.

Chris Rigoni Shield

A semi final was played this week and Paul Tanner/Jonathan Mercuri defeated Ichlis/Peter Stewart 4/3. Well done to the four of you.

The final semi final will be played this weekend.
