Drainage

This week we have been sourcing quotes to upgrade the drainage on the third and fourth fairways. The third and fifth fairways have always been wet in the winter, thus requiring a composite course. We tried to blast the dirt out of the pipework but roots have wrecked the pipe - we need to replace the pipe with a better product. This year we will do 100metres on the fourth. If the quotes are too expensive, COULD we do it ourselves ? Welcome any suggestions.

Bright Challenge

Last Wednesday, 37 players played in the Rob Wickes challenge against Bright, only 7 from Bright but a great roll up from Myrtleford.

Karl O;Shaughnessy won the A grade with 39 points, Craig Shewell runner up with 36 points. Ladies A grade winner was Kerry Newton with 36 points, runner up Sandra Piazza with 31 points.

Bright won the challenge.

A special thanks to the ladies for lunch and Gerard and Jonathan for course presentation.
