Their next project is to lay the pavers at the gateway, followed by building the skillion over the course toilet.
Course
Please put in your diary, working bee on the 22nd May.
If you have a spare hour, there are always sticks and bark to pick up.

100th Celebrations
Tickets are now on sale for our Celebration dinner, May 28th, 6.30pm, Myrtleford Football Club, $50.00 per head. I can not stress enough how important it is for every member to buy 2 tickets and invite other couples. There are over 200 contacts on my email address book, so please support this night.
We have a great guest Speaker in David Schwarz, born in the Ovens Valley, ex AFL player, but more importantly, great advocate for Mental Heath and non gambling. David and Gus Rigoni will be playing golf on our course on the Saturday.
Our Club is on show in our Community, it will not reflect well if we only had 50 guests there.
If you wish to purchase a table of 8, then please purchase 8 tickets and get the money off your friends.
Book tickets through Eventbrite

As our Centennial date is June 22nd,1922, when we will be having centennial golf events on:
Thursday 9th June,- Members (Men) vs. Associates(Ladies) -Ebe Schlapp trophy. This event was held in the 60’s and 70’s.
Saturday 11th June, Dress up in your centennial gear and play stableford, be great to have a shotgun start - Men and Ladies.
A 4 page spread in the Myrtleford Times is in the planning stages.
Tickets are selling slowly!!. Only one male member has purchased a ticket for the dinner, we have 70 male members, if you all purchased 2 tickets, the night would be a roaring success.
This week I have received great photos of Charlie Heather, Marg Rowan, Ian O’May, Gilbert Thompson and Nancy Abbott. From a photo from the Myrtleford museum, I have been able to crop Linda Robertson, Mary Heather and Jim Disher.
I am now chasing photos of Club Champions in both ladies and men - do you have one or know of someone who could help?
Next Centenary meeting, next Tuesday, 2.30 at the Clubhouse, all welcome.
This morning I have just done a radio intervies with 3NE, played this afternoon and next Friday morning, I’m doing on on the ABC.
Annual Tournament
Ladies Bowl, next Thursday – bookings now closed.
4BBB – Next Friday
Saturday Stroke event –
Please book in on our website or leave your name on our notice board. Numbers are poor for both events
New Software
Last Saturday and Tuesday, John was showing members how to enter their scores - all were impressed. John is thinking that the entering of scores will take place in the main room, not in the office. Please do practice runs over the next couple of weeks
Ladies Pennant
Great win by the Ladies to reach the finals. They defeated Yarrawonga at Wodonga and final is next Monday. We will be cheering you all the way, lets make it two flags.
Men’s Pennant
Our pennant team the Wannabees are off to the Grand Final, defeating Yarrawonga 3/2 at Beechworth. Great effort from Paul, Brad,Tristan, David and Pieter
Wodonga Bowl
Last Friday, 6 ladies played in the Wodonga Bowl. Carolyn Prowse had best score (33) and Marg Curtis won longest drive for A grade. You have to admire the ladies for travelling to tournaments, I believe they have nearly a 100 coming to their Bowl. Yesterday 4 ladies played in the Benalla bowl.
Centennial Shirts
Have you ordered your shirt yet?? Order forms at the Clubhouse
They look terrific with the orginal logo on them.
Good hitting, George
