President's Bulletin – June 24th, 2022

Men’s Comp –

Last Saturday, 14 players played in the Monthly Medal event. Gerard Black had a good day winning the medal with a net 73, runner up Paul Green with a net 74.

Gerard and Craig Shewell had a mighty match play, Gerard winning on the 19th hole. He now plays David Clark in the B grade final.

If you wish to download the app for your mobile to score on our new program, it is called MiScore - $16.00 a year, has an excellent GPS with it.

Course

The course is still composite – no carts until further notice and preferred lies. Gerard is having two weeks holiday and our Treasurer John is heading north, safe holidays to you both.

Ladies Comp

No play this week, this would have to be the wettest June we have seen for a long time.

Club 50

Tonight, is the June draw of the Club 50, 5.00pm at the Golf Club

Sale of equipment

This week we have sold the John Deere mower, off to the Yarra Valley

Following the purchase of the rectangular tables, we have sold six of our large circular tables - off to the Everton Hall.

Don’t stand still at the Club, you could end up on marketplace !

Centennial Celebrations

The Myrtleford Times supplement was excellent, thanks to Manager Jenny Zamperoni and Martin Davis for their great work. Sorry for a couple of names spelt incorrectly.

A huge thanks to three of our sponsors, TAFCO, MAWSONS and TASCO for supporting the supplement.

I urge you all to buy a copy. To come out on our 100th Birthday was great timing.
